Drunkard Drinks to the Last Drop

Today is the 31st of October. It is the day for me to pay the apartment rental. The landlord will be jumping for glee to spend the payment over drinking alcohol. Sometimes they cannot wait to give them the money. With this kind of situation, I feel bad that he is spending my hard money on such a thing.  I am not sure if it is just me. We used to have a family house that was sold by my father's siblings. If my old man is still alive, we will not experience this kind of situation. I wish I could have our own place soon. What do you think? Have you experienced this? Image Credit: lh3.googleusercontent.com

@aureategloom No one dared to confront him. That is why I am trying to stay away from him. In this way, I may not say something that they do not want to hear.

That's sooo bad. I pray that God will bless you in a different ways that one day you will see that its a good thing that God separate you from them. Anyway, all the landlords that we had are really good people, and they save money that's why they are already rich now. Your landlord is really bad at keeping his money, I hope he change or else he will lose everything if his health become at risk.

Before we moved here. I thought he was a good man. Lately, I figured out that he is still asking for money from his father, who is overseas. I tried my best not to have a small talk or any kind to him because I needed to set a boundary between him and us.

Indeed. In fact, I am trying to stay away from him as much as possible. He is not reliable in giving information.

@rakski Like today, he is so eager to have the rental payment. I detoured and gave the money to his wife instead.

Maybe I can say I am a good landlady lol, I have a long patience. During covid I even gave free months and rental fee is very low, I have not increased for more than a decade.

I think I need you to be my landlord. This landlord mine is a bit strange. Regardless, I do not want to know him more than now.

i wish you could get your own place too. in all fairness, it's his choice but i understand your feeling and would feel the same. i mean, it can be done more privately, not for everyone to see it

Indeed. As a matter of fact, I tried my best not to have small talks with him and his family. I am trying not to have a strong bond with them.

@grenery8 There are some people like this. If it happens that we cross our path, I will just need to endure.
