Dracula: Is it a myth?!?

When I was a young kid, I wished to wear a dracula costume. It never happened because Halloween parties and the like are not that popular to celebrate in my country. Things have changed through the years, and many locals are doing it here. Most kids are excited to do trick or treat, too. Speaking of a myth, dracula was named by a writer, Bram Stoker. He got the name from the prince who ruled Wallachia, Vlad III. At his time during the 15th century, he was called "Dracula," and it means the "son of Dracul." Have you ever worn any scary costumes before? Image Credit: upload.wikimedia.org

That was a cool one. During my university days, I had seen some people who did wear scary costumes and appreciated how they use them in public.

i remember the movie with luke evans. not the best work but it was shown that dracula was a human first and a prince, as you say so, maybe drinking blood was exaggeration and a myth. but we enjoy some myths, don't we?

I had watched modern draculas. But they did show how to suck the blood and kill their victims viciously. Or they will make the people like their own kind.

@grenery8 In my country, some old folks believe vampire like creatures. Although they were not proven if they do exist.

@Shavkat yes. underneath all of that, it seems they are lonely too so they wanted to produce more vampires.

I'm glad to hear that Halloween has become more popular in your area. The history behind Dracul is quite interesting. I usually always wore a gypsy costume. That's because my mom had a lot of jewelry.
