It's Autumn for sure at my house

I just made a pumpkin pie from a little store bought sugar pie pumpkin. My version features dates for sweetener. No milk. Two eggs. I slurped in a spoon of molasses this time. Of course spices. I also went wild and put some chopped walnuts on top. Its also the eve of the American presidential election. I saw two posts on Facebook today: one talked about garbage. That wasn't very friendly. Then I ran into a post from the Unitarian religious folks. Friendly so I kept reading. The Unitarians advocated that people go outside and touch the Earth. They advocated love and checking on your neighbors to see how they were doing. I found it hair raising that the Unitarians urged folks to basically act like a blizzard or war was on but I understand. Anyway, I kept their message cause it spoke to me.
