The family bug isn't gone yet.

Last time I wrote about my eldest being sick with fever, cough and colds for over 2 weeks. She's recovered now and is back to school. Unfortunately, the second daughter got the bug soon after, and then me, and then the husband. I recovered ahead of my daughter and husband for some reason. (Maybe because I had to will it?!) It's just really tough to be taking care of and administering meds to everyone when you are very sick too. We all had/have the ILI (influenza like illness) symptoms - warm temps, cough, and colds. I didn't go beyond 37 degrees C but felt awful anyway with body malaise and all. I'm glad that I got better quickly and able to do a bit of cleaning and cooking. Some days, I'd go for food delivery. And when I'm too tired to rid the house of dust, I let the robot vacuum do double and triple shifts. Husband forced himself to return to work this morning though he isn't a hundred percent yet. I had the second daughter stay with me today for another day of rest and medication. I hope many of you are enjoying good health at the moment. It's usual to see many people get sick at this time when weather and temps are shifting.

Thanks, Lee anne. We just ran out of honey. I've been giving my kids hot green tea with honey almost every day since they got sick. I'll see if I could get one at the convenience store later.

It is your responsibility to care for the others that you got better earlier than they.
