11/6/24 - Update On My Husband

I called the social worker yesterday and she assured me that my husband would get a shower that day.
BUT it turns out that my husband was taken to the hospital. No one called me to let me know. I will call the nurses' station today and find out why I wasn't called. He is back at the facility; and I hope to find out what's going on today.
Thank you for your continued prayers, support and thoughts.

It’s a federal thing, mandatory that they immediately notify the next of kin that the patient is being transferred. They are not in compliance. Did they have your cell number since your landline is down? If so, they should have called it.
This facility does not appear to have it together. I hope I’m wrong.

I'm going to find out if they had my cell number. They told my husband that they called me.

Document this somewhere. You might need that information at some point. Totally unacceptable that they not only did not call you, they LIED about it and said they did!

You need to be informed. Not surprising really when he doesn't seem to get good care there

They should of. But if he's back it must've been something minor.

I’d be on the phone like hair on a gorilla yelling about their protocols regarding that.

The woman from social services apologized; and she said she would let them know that I must be called. Yeah right.

How tragic and I hope he will be all right, Good to know he is back at the facility but why did they take him to the hospital? I keep praying and many blessings to you both,

@LindaOHio not one to sound an alarm but it seems more things are going wrong than right, You need a serious meeting with the doctors and medical staff,

@RasmaSandra My husband has an appointment with the doctor more than a week away. This is when he will discuss the diagnosis.

You should be notified if your husband was sent to the hospital. You should definitely find out why they didn't inform you.

Your husband sure isn't getting very good treatment. If it were me I would be called every place I could until someone acts like they care and does something. But, that's just me.
