Well I can't believe it--Trump won the election

As of 4:53am Trump has won 267 electoral votes while Kamala has 219. You need 270 in order to secure the presidency so you can see that Trump is almost there. I don't know if I was just burned out on the election or if subliminally I was worried about Kamala losing but I actually turned off the TV and went to bed at 6:30pm. My ex was surprised because he knows how much I usually enjoy political stuff. Even when I woke up in the middle of the night I didn't check the results. It wasn't until I woke up around 3:30am that I finally looked and saw that Trump won. I can't even say that I'm super upset. I don't think it has sunk in yet. I cannot even imagine what dangerous, evil, and insane things Trump will do in his second term. I sure am happy that he will have access to highly classified government secrets and the nuclear codes though. But hey everyone will have their guns for their mass shootings, Ukraine will once again be part of Russia, and Americans can embrace their racism and bigotry. I will be interested to see what the commentary is in the coming weeks about what went wrong for Kamala. It is incredible to me that so many people could vote for him after not only what we know about him after his first 4 years but also over the past several months on the campaign trail. Buckle up America. You reap what you sow.

Did you see how many women voted for him? And black men. That really surprised me.

I think if Kamala had more time to campaign, she might have done better. She actually got quite a few electoral votes. Apparently Americans don't care about what Trump says or does. Have a good day.

I'm thrilled, tickled, excited that he won, the people have had enough of the lies & all the BS they have done to our lives in the past 4 yrs, so you can pout & cry & complain all you want but the rest of us are certainly going to celebrate a new start.

Where did I say I was pouting or crying? You continue to amaze me with your vague comments about conspiracy theory stuff yet you are never able to actually explain or cite evidence for anything specifically.

America made a choice. I am no American .Neither I am baised to Kamala or Trump. I feel what did not work for Kamala was 3 things . One , she did not have answers/did not communicate properly to American Citizens to how to lift the US economy , the immigration policies or other policies impacting working class. Second, Democrats did not prepare properly for this election . Biden dropping in mid of the process and Kamala Harris coming in between , did not win the confidence of the people. Third , she refused interviews in the beginning. That was disaster. However, when she tried damage control , it turned worse than disaster. I hope democrats will prepare properly and have a narrative next time. Till then it will be interesting to see Trump 2.0
