Bats in the Neighborhood.

This is the third time I have seen them flying around our street. The first time, I was scared because I thought it would bump into my head while I was walking. I first thought of them as birds, but their flight is too low, and wings too wide for a small bird. A while ago I confirmed they are bats. And I think the nest is my neighbor's house with a guava tree. And that tree is like 1.5 meters away from the pedestrian gate. . I just saw them inside the cave when I traveled not expecting them in my neighborhood.

@rakski I agree. These can be seen there. When I want to this place, I did not go here.

Typically bats are found in older trees, or abandoned buildings that area also old.

that is also what I am thinking. The first time I saw them I shrugged it off because we were in the city, full of people

I saw it recently as one of them entered my house and had to work very hard to get it out of the house.

Luckily bats have great navigation systems so they shouldn't run into you. However, I do find them a bit freaky.

Whenever I think or read about bats;I remind the Covid lockdown. A time was when we had many bats in our society. But now I have not seen even a single here for a long time.I don't know why and how they left this area.

Please be careful, I think they transmit disease. I haven't seen a bat in years, and have rarely even seen one. We do have some ginoromus moths around here though!

Yes, I will be careful now. I did not realize it until last night. I thought they are some kind of birds but their flight is very low and peculiar wings so I suspected it.

I am not sure, but they may carry diseases. I am more scared that they will become Dracula or vampires when they are in front of me

Did you know our ears can longer hear bat squeaks after age 21-22?
