How are you all feeling after election night? I’d love to hear from all.

Yes, Trump won. I knew citizens were angry over the border DISASTER, the downturn in the economy, the soft on crime policies, and the promise of free sex changes for prisoners, but I did not think he would win. Kamala Harris put up a good fight for being thrown into the fray so unexpectedly. I wonder what is in store for her. Trump got a very high turnout from women voters, yes, women. (Bill Clinton in the 1990s did too after his accusations of sexual harassment.) He also got plenty of votes from multiple ethnicities, which might surprise non Americans. I don’t even know what to say. This whole election season has been crazy. I need some sleep.

I think about the Bible, the fact that the election yesterday did nothing to remove God from His Throne. I also thought of the warning in Ezekiel 16:49-50: “Behold, this was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had arrogance, abundant food and careless ease, but she did not help the poor and needy. Thus they were haughty and committed abominations before Me. Therefore I removed them when I saw it.” America has chosen its god. Sadly, a lot of “Christians” had a hand in it.

@Scarred4Lyfe — back in 2020, I was having “birthday lunch” with a friend (his birthday, not mine) when the in-restaurant TVs showed that CNN called the election for Biden. I said, “What conservatives need to do RIGHT NOW is get young, energetic, articulate people.” And what did they do? As Tom T. Hall said in “Watergate Blues,” “The USA bought a new used car.” I think the loudest message that the liberals need to hear from 2016 and 2024 is that America DOES NOT WANT a female president, so stop picking women candidates. If yesterday said anything, they especially don’t want a woman of color for president.

The numbers tell a tale of frustration. Trump received 3 million fewer votes than in 2020. Meanwhile, close to 15 million people that voted against Trump in 2020 simply did not vote this time.

Kamala did not do bad either and only the voters know why they voted the way they did.

It's a train wreck and there will be burning bodies. All the socialist programs that people will rely on- Medicare, the food bank, our environment, education, you name it, its going to hurt. We need planet Earth and we need to care for Her. We're going to need to figure how to care for one another.

What fight did Kamala put up? She defended lying to the American people about Biden's health. She defended Biden's policies which caused inflation and high gas and energy prices. She defended Biden's border policies which caused the border crisis. She defended appointments of soft on crime prosecutors and judges. She defended men competing in women's sports. She defended the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. Not to mention that she changed nearly every single policy she had once she became the nominee and tried to hide from it. She never answered important questions about how she would combat inflation or fix the economy. She had no solutions for the Russia/Ukraine war or what is happening in the Middle East. She wanted to tax unrealized gains, which would have affected millions of Americans who own their homes outright now forcing them to pay a tax on their equity. She sat there and told the American people that despite the massive devastating effects of Bidenomics that it was working. She blamed problems that needed to be fixed on a guy who wasn't even in office for the past four years and denied their policies WERE the issue. She sang and danced about threats to democracy while being chosen as the nominee WITHOUT a democratic process. I don't think anyone with a straight face and a clear mind could have thought Harris could WIN. Biden's approval ratings were in the 30s. Her approval ratings before her nomination were in the below zeros, lower than Congress. She was the least liked vice president in history. 70% of the American people thought the country was headed in the wrong direction. And on the three key issues of concern to the American people—inflation, the border and the economy—she was losing on all three. How does any of that above translate to a win? Yeesh. It should be OBVIOUS that she lost and could not POSSIBLY have a chance of winning. This would be like thinking a football team could win 2 games out of the entire season and still have a shot at going to the Super Bowl. It makes no sense.

Of course she lost. Her policies were terrible, and she was totally unprepared (I think for being an unprepared fish in an overwhelming pond she put up a good fight.) I thought Americans were going to be too blinded to see past that. But I do love it when people talk to me like I’m stupid.

Can I just ask you about one point? The Trump administration in February 2020 negotiated a withdrawal agreement with the Taliban that excluded the Afghan government, freed 5,000 imprisoned Taliban soldiers and set a date certain of May 1, 2021, for the final withdrawal. So why does Biden get the blame for the withdrawal when he was forced into it?

@AmbiePam I was not insinuating you were stupid. Misinformed? Maybe. Not fully understanding how elections work? Perhaps. But not stupid.

I'm very sorry that it didn't turn out the way you would've wanted it to. I had the same experience during our last presidential election, and I'm still not over it.
