My first painting finished today.

This painting (above) is the first one finished today. I started it two weeks ago, but last week I was doing the watercolour painting of the lampost that I wasn't satisfied with the first time round. I'm afraid the photograph of the painting above doesn't do it justice. It's too dark in parts and the leaves on the gate are still wet so they are shining a bit. It's also a bit blurry but I couldn't get it any better than that, sorry. This painting is on a small canvas. I did most of it two weeks ago. The trees and all the foliage, the grass and the leaves on the ground. It's only the gate and old fence posts, and the leaves on the gate that I did today, and any leaves the same colour as the leaves on the gate I've also been doing another painting on a larger canvas inbetween doing this one, which is of a tree but it's in more autumnal colours. That one is still a work in progress, and I will show it to you later when it's finished. How'ya diddly doing? (As Wynne Evans would say! ) I'm listening to one of his CD's right now.
