Trump's re-election is affecting the sex lives of women

Supposedly. I take this headline with a ginormous grain of salt. So Trump has bee re-elected. Obviously half of the country is ecstatic about that while the other half feels devastated for various reasons. So some of the anti-Trump coalition of women have announced that they are giving up sex in protest since their rights (including reproductive ones) are further in danger now that Republicans have won control of the White House, Senate, and possibly the House of Representatives. With a possible national abortion ban on the horizon they are feeling threatened and do not want to do anything that would cause them to be forced to have a child. Some are also shaving their heads but I don't really understand the purpose of that. On the other end of the spectrum the pro-Trump women are now expressing an interest in having MORE children since they think that suddenly their cost of living and the expense of raising kids will magically decrease. As for me--Tuesday's election results will have no impact on my bedroom activities. Granted I seem to have aged out of the baby-making years but even if I hadn't I would still keep my clothes on (or off) regardless of whoever won the election. Why punish myself because people voted for such an awful person?

I read an interesting article today that misogynists are putting their views forward more and more. None of their rhetoric bodes well for women.

@njchicaa I don’t think a bunch of women shaving their heads is going to leave Donald quaking in his boots.

It is stupid and childish, and yes. Self-punishment as you stated. But hey, on the bright side, if they close their legs we'll have less abortions. Problem solved.
