Do you know about the health benefits of mushrooms?

It seems like they are the new it food. From microdosing to help with depression, to lower blood pressure and blood sugar..mushrooms are highly touted these days. I bought some kind of spice with mushroom powder in it at the craft show. There was a grower there. Not sure how beneficial it is going to be, but can't hurt. Mushroom coffee is sold as well..but it is pretty expensive. Do you like and use mushrooms? What kind do you buy?
Find out what nutrients are in mushrooms and learn how it can help everything from obesity control to lower blood pressure.

I got some mushroom coffee to test last month. I also started taking mushroom capsules about two months ago. The fiber is real.

I tried this at my daughter’s house. She likes it, but you are correct about the price. Especially when a person is a hard core coffee drinker!

I've heard and read from doctors and vaidyas (ayurvedic doctors) that there are health benefits of everything that grows on earth. Be it to be consumed through mouth, or be it to be applied as cream, paste or gel. So mushrooms cannot be an exception. But yes, I have heard for the first time that mushrooms are beneficial for blood pressure and blood sugar level.

@snowy22315 Oh yes, definitely. Nothing that grows is a waste. Everything that we see growing, comes out with a purpose. And if there is no purpose, nothing's growing.

There is no mushroom sold here. I'm worried why there's no mushroom seller. I tasted mushroom when I dined in a fast food center. I ordered beef with mushroom.

i am not the biggest mushroom fan. Nor am I a coffee fan One question, does mushroom coffee? since it is coffee does it have caffeine? Does the mushroom spice taste like mushrooms? I hope you like it! After i read you were going to a craft show, my sister called to tell me she was on her way to a craft show in her town with her friends the same day you went to one!

I don't think the mushroom coffee tastes lie mushrooms. I haven't tried the source rub yet, but I bet it doesn't. There are tons of craft shows around now.

@snowy22315 this is the first craft show around here my sister has gone. She and a friend have gone to one both in Ohio and West Virginia. if they don't make mushroom coffee to taste like coffee then that if helpful since it is so healthy to those who don't like the taste of mushrooms. I would say it would be me but I think i don't like the texture the most

Thi is the first time I am reading about mushroom coffee. Never heard or read on same anywhere else and never saw same even in supermarkets or shops. We did have mushroom curries in India and even mushroom fired rice. I was not aware of the benefits of mushroom. That is definitely food for thought . I will check on the benefits of mushroom and well would like to understandd why this was never shared across unlike other food in supermarkets. I am not a regular user of mushrooms but like to have them once in a while. Do let know on the updates after consuming mushroom coffee. Have a nice weekend!

My husband told me years ago how amazing the health benefits of them can be. Very high end powdered mushrooms have shown to be helpful for reducing cancer rates or something like that I recall him saying.

@snowy22315 I stick mushrooms in just about everything. Mostly chestnut mushrooms because that’s what’s available fresh, but also dried porcini.

We eat mushrooms quite often but only the button-type. A few years ago, avocadoes were the 'in' food.
