Can you listen to YouTube music with so many ads?

My mom pays for YouTube Premium. She listens to music all day. She can't stand those long ads. Before it was $6. Now it's $7. I am not sure if YouTube Premium is more expensive in all countries. I wonder how can someone use YouTube with so many ads. When we didn't pay for YouTube Premium there were ads every minute. We couldn't listen to a single song. We couldn't watch anything because ads appeared very often. Do you use it with all those ads? Or do you listen to something else? When I tried to listen to a song with so many ads I gave up. I couldn't watch a show or anything. I can understand that some ads appear, but ads every minute are just too much. Even on TV, we don't see so many ads.
