Deputy in California honored for saving the life of a child before a train hit an auto

A train in California about to hit a SUV that was a railroad track crossing.

San Bernadino Sheriff's Department Deputy Michael Castadena who off duty was at the right place at the right time earlier in November when he took action to save the life of a child who was inside of a SUV while the SUV was stuck on the railroad tracks when a train was coming toward the SUV. Officer Castadena was able to get the child out of the SUV seconds before the train crashed into the SUV. Officer Castenda was honored by his superiors with the Meritorious Valor Award for his act of bravery. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/us/...

I guess the SUV either had a mechanical problem getting stuck on the railroad tracks.
