Food.. What are Your Thoughts About the Prices?

So, do you remember when a bag of Chester's Cheese Puffcorn (4.25 oz) was only 99 cents? Currently, they are marked on the package as having the printed package price of $2.69.
There are so many food items that are now sky-high, of course, with the economy being as it is.
So.. What are your thoughts about food prices, nowadays? And which are your favorite least expensive food-picks, that help with your budget?

I could go on a long rant about the prices and how I wish the cost of living was like it was back in the 50's and 60's. I recall times when my father used to complain about gas going over a dollar. In a nutshell, I hate it. I'd love to see cost of living go down in general, but even if it does, I don't see that much of a decline in prices.
Due to my husband's stroke, I can't shop around like I used to be able to do. What I'd save on groceries, I make up in forced tips and delivery fees. If I want so-called free delivery, I either need to go out of my way to spend way more money then I want, pay for a Walmart Plus subscription and adhere to a timeframe, or bite the bullett and pay delivery fees and those DON"T include the tip which they tack on. So I'm happy if I see something on sale, but I don't bother to look at the prices anymore.

i sometimes have a ride for groceries, however, I only get to one store, so I am forced to get a Walmart Plus subscription. I can't afford to have food delivered anywhere other than Walmart. It is not necessarily the delivery fee it is grocery stores raising the price of the food when it is delivered as compared to going into the store and buying it in person.
I feel like they are punishing me for not driving and not having somebody to drive me

@LovesEverybody I have a food card that works at Winn-Dixie Walmart, Walgreens and Save A lot. But, only Wal-Mart lets me link it to my account. So I get most of my groceries paid for that way. Anyewhere else, even if they had a product on sale I'd have to pay for it out-of-pocket, and that's where fees really hurt me.

Food prices have skyrocketed globally; and there are many countries which have a much higher percentage of inflation. I use a lot of store brands from Walmart to keep prices down. Have a good week.

I notice the prices all the time. Milk at Walmart in 2 weeks went from $1.58 up to $1.78. I pick up something I buy all the time and I notice it has gone up .07. I know how much all my items I buy all the time cost, and so I really notice when they go up. Hope they go down soon.

I have to buy smaller products in the stores due to high prices.

I have no favorite least expensive food-picks, I just buy what I need
& find the cheapest that I can, I've always shopped that way.
