My Survival Plan

Life can, sometimes, be hard. We will all face challenges at some point in life. We live in a sinful world and are engaged in spiritual warfare. We can make plans for survival. We can make choices to live a life of victory. But without Jesus, all is in vain. Prayer is our greatest weapon. Prayer is our greatest asset. There is power in the name of Jesus. There is power in prayer. Therefore, I want to live a life devoted to prayer. God has revealed to me many truths, provided many needs, and empowered life and ministry because of prayer. My survival plan is centered around a life of prayer.
I am reminded of the old hymn:
"What a friend we have in Jesus
All our sins and griefs to bare
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer"

When life gets out of sorts I always take the time to have a talk
with my mighty savior above & tune in on some songs I enjoy.

@2ndchances24 Yes, I did. I thought I commented back, but I guess I forgot to hit send. sorry about that. My comment is that we have a lady at our church that loves Josh Turner and I wouldn't be surprised if she sang this song in church one day.

That is true that through prayers to God and His Son, He will give us strength to survive the rough world we live in today.

I once read that God always answers prayers. He may not answer them the way that we want Him to, but He knows what is best and we must trust Him.

Prayer definitely has more power. Our survival , our destiny is all with God's choice and plans.There are challenges from the time we are born and yet known or unknown , we pray. We pray for the choices blessings and to improve our lives. Being spiritual and Religious help us to navigate through the world where it is easy to sin . I do agree with you that Prayer is a great weapon but more than a weapon it is oxygen that keeps us going when challenges arise. Nice to read about your thoughts on prayer.
