I have coins on my table, which I separated by amount in a container. I assumed it was filling up and I'd have to use them to make a purchase - online or use for a cab ride. Today, I counted the coins and totaled 1,400. 20-peso coins = P600 10-peso coins = P100 5-peso coins = P700 I requested that the money be transferred to my E-Wallet account when I visited the closest store. In total, I disposed of about $23.87 worth of coins. Additionally, that is more money in my e-wallet.

@rakski Do you know the can of Lotte Luncheon meat? It is full of 1-peso coins not to mention that I have 1 round tub full of 25 cents. I have the new ones and the old ones (yellow 25 cents). Can I still use the yellow ones as a valid money?

That is a nice move. I sometimes do this. I will let my aunt changed them in paper money, since she has her small store.

That is a simple way of saving money. My coins saved in the piggy bank reached 9,000 pesos.

That was my purpose. I sent the amount to my father because I don't have extra budget.
