Word for the Day: "Feather"

I will not attempt to change the meaning of this word. We noticed that one of our twin girls calls her other twin sister a feather. At first, we find it weird why she does this lately. We only figured out that she cannot utter the word sister. This is the way she calls her older twin. I must say that her baby talk is also quite charming to the family. Are you amazed seeing twins? A unique nickname. What I usually admire about twins is that they are always united in many things, even when they are both adults.

@astutimeliana723 Sometimes they fight over certain toys. It is best to buy two toys for them. So that no more fight.

You said it right. We noticed that they are protective to each other. They always work hand-in-hand in doing mischievous lately.

She is a bit late having her baby talk. But she had improved. The older sister tends to be patient in teaching her sometimes. In their own ways, they can understand each other while playing around the house.

@rakski Sometimes the older twin sister does not like it and she keeps on insisting to call her by real name.

@Shavkat but calling her sister feather is cute. It is like a term of endearment for them

There is a lady who is very dear to me who lost her twin brother about a year ago(?). I can't imagine that kind of bond.

I also noticed the strong bond when one got hurt. It seems like they can sense there is something wrong and they cried together in certain situations. The feelings are mutual for them to share.

They are precious. I've never lived with twins so I know very little about them.

Yes, they are so precious to us. I have twin uncles, too. All the relatives are surprised and amazed of our twin girls. Our house is always in a chaotic situation because they love playing around.

It is tiring to take good care of them since they are toddlers now, but it is very rewarding. They are so adorable when trying to disturb me while working online.

Twins are neat. My sister couldn't say my name when she was very small and called me Nana..instead of my real first name..Karen. By the time she was 2 or 2 1/2 she could say it.

They are so adorable rascals in the family. If I could remember, I was able to speak clearly late at 1 year old. I think it is given because I was born prematurely.

The younger twin is the one who says feather to her older twin. We find it cute for the endearment per se.
