Boiled eggs and pancit canton for breakfast

Pancit canton are egg noodles that are popular here in my country. The word "pancit" simply means "noodles" and "canton" refers to the Cantonese region in China. I just prepared instant pancit canton from a packet because I'm too lazy to make a grand breakfast just for myself. I boiled 4 eggs thinking that I could have 2 but ended up eating just one. So I had one nice soft boiled egg with my egg noodles. Nothing spectacular but it filled me up.
Today's major accomplishment is being able to eat soft boiled egg using stainless steel chopsticks. Yes, I'm so bad at chopsticks that it's taking me forever to level up the skill. I'm not giving up though. I'll practice some more on the egg until I'm satisfied, then I'll learn how to mince fish using chopsticks too.
How good or bad are you at using chopsticks? Wait, do you even bother with chopsticks?

Haha, I'm glad you had your fill of pancit canton and boiled egg too! I tried having ramyun for lunch today but the brand that I bought didn't taste good, so I didn't finish it.

@almostoveryou I had to look the differences up. I think I may have been mistaken . . . I know it's the clear noodles - so maybe it was the mung bean type (that's the sotanghon, right?). But aren't chopsticks used in the Phils?

@much2say Now, I'm quite confused too. All I know is that the sotanghon looks more glassy than the bihon, which appears to be translucent. Most households here use fork and spoon for eating. Chopsticks are an option in most Oriental restaurants, but silverware is still very much preferred by Filipinos here. I trained my daughters to eat rice and side dishes with chopsticks so they won't have problems if they ever visit a country in East Asia or where chopsticks are more common. I'm proud to say that they do better at handling chopsticks than their mom.

Your friend's nanay probably makes either pancit bihon or pancit sotanghon. I like them, too. Nice to meet someone who's born to use the chopsticks. I love Japanese food too.

I am a fork and spoon person.
I eat a boiled egg late in the evening and it is supposed to induce sleep

I rarely eat boiled egg at night so I can't recall if it ever made me sleepy. But I know I can have boiled egg any time of the day.
