Some businesses, although most mainstream ones do not, with a few exceptions like Home Depot,and Amazon I believe do take crypto and I have read about them. I was at Starbucks yesterday, and happened to inquire if they took crypto. The barista said "No, we don't, no businesses take crypto it is too volatile."I told her some do, and I have read about certain pizza places, and other brick and mortar stores doing so. As a matter of fact, one of the local small stores here has some sort of crypto ATM or something. Not really sure how that would work, but pretty sure they take it there for payment as well. I hate when people who are uninformed make pronouncements that are not true. Does that bug you too?

I try not to say things definitively because I always assume someone is going to know something I don’t. That would annoy me, to be told I was wrong, when I knew I wasn’t.

They can just say we don't take it. Plain and simple. No need to tell other things unless they are well informed

I hate it when they answered very impolite as if they look at you as an idiot. Its not about the crypto thing, but I love collecting stickers, but since I don't have money in the Starbucks app, one of the starbucks store I go too will always ask me for my app barcode for the stickers... but when I went to a different store... a new crew did not even tone down her voice and ask her supervisor who doesnt know either that it is possible to pay cash but count the sticker in the app. Anyway I never bothered them again for that, and the 3 starbucks that I always go to.. even though I pay cash they count my stickers in my app. And they are really polite.
