Disorientation.

We’re attempting another jigsaw, but we’ve been struggling with it. We prefer to do jigsaws without reference to the picture on the box and this one is of a Japanese scene with large spaces of featurelessness. With so little progress being achieved we relented and consulted the picture and discovered that we were trying to do it upside down.

reminds me of the great wave of kanagawa. it looks nice

well, you made at least a little progress while trying to do it upside down
