A Conversation With a White Christian Nationalist

"We will have our daughter ready for you as a virgin". (she has a daughter)
One of my favorite YouTube content suppliers did a stream yesterday that both shocked and offended me greatly. He was interviewing a young woman. Her name is Isabell Moody and she has a channel on TikTok with many hundreds of thousands of followers.
I am a proud feminist and to hear this woman was both shocking and appalling. She admits to being a White Christian Nationist and her goal on TikTok is to "shock, piss off and confuse." Can you believe it?
She is very ignorant and when the interviewer asked her some very basic questions about politics she hee'd and haw'd and obviously knew very little and had no definite beliefs. She has some very twisted ideas and is extremely oppressed by her husband. She feels women shouldn't hold any office and shouldn't vote. She said that Kamala Harris lied but couldn't say about what. When she is called out on how stupid statements she makes are she says she was just being funny. None of what she said was funny.
When she was seen with her husband her body language said it all. She was very uncomfortable when he spoke about a woman's place and why men are better than women. She was very subservient to her husband. It was very troubling to see.
She knew very little and was just spewing hate and negativity to get a reaction.
The scary thing is that when I Googled her I found that there are scads of (channels or whatever they are called over there) of ones just like hers. Are they also WCNs or are they getting their ideas from her? Is this the norm with young people now?
The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don't have any.

@celticeagle Just when we think there might be some glimmer of light we have the rug pulled from under us again. I’d hate to have a subservient wife who is too scared to think for herself. I wonder too how they can use the term Christian - nothing like that in the Bible that I’ve read.

That is a huge reason I don't like religion or churches. Very little really comes from the Bible and who is to say the Bible is true anyway?

I pity them. Those people have been psychologically abused into lack of self steem. And when a person lacks self steem, someone must fight for them. I personally think that the way to fight is to change the laws. We can´t stay steated in our living rooms when this happens. Strong people cannot only move once every rew years to put a line on a ballot.

This is true. Sometimes I wish I was younger at this time in history and other times I am glad I am not.

It's very disheartening to read things like this. Women should never be oppressed.
Have a good day.
