Woke up early...well early for me 8am. Had stuff I wanted to do..guess what..didn't do ANY of it. Started watching reels, and before I knew it General Hospital was on..Can't miss that! Got dressed and went to Walgreens and got some Musinex, Bandaids, and some dark chocolate covered pretzels. Stopped by my lotto store. Then went to WinnDixie (all this was in a little town 3 miles away) No WinnDixie in my town anymore) Anyway, I bought a couple of scratch offs there and won $100 on a $10 ticket. WOW! Came home and finished the kitchen cleaning, then made me a ham and cheese sandwich for supper. Which brings me to this: The older I get the less it takes to fill me up at dinner. Back in the day (about 5 years ago) I could actually eat a ham and cheese sandwich and a small bag of chips and still want a dessert. Tonight I had that same sandwich with about 15 Mexican Street Corn Cheetos mostly small pieces...and I am stuffed. No dessert tonight. This sucks. LOL I have Cheese cake for dessert and can't find any room for it.

Maybe that's not such a bad thing. Less risk of over eating. You can always have a piece of cake later.

That's right, as we get older it's as if our stomachs get smaller. with just a little food we already feel full. Congratulations on the unexpected gift. I'm happy to hear that

WOW ! ! ! they still have General Hospital on tv still ? I loved watching all my children I wish it was still on t.v. I know what your talking about when it comes to eating I use to eat a lot of food but since I have been home from the hosp (last yr) with my health issues I'm lucky if I eat 1 meal a day & most the time not even a meal but more of a snack to kill the hunger.
