Cold at last.

Today is the first time I’ve actually felt cold this winter, and the first I’ve worn a sweater outside. The temperature has dropped to 4 degrees, the sky is piercingly blue and the strong, cold shafts of light coming like arrows from the sun are ricocheting off windows panes and red brick walls. There is snow lying on the hills above the town. Everything feels smart and alive.

I do enjoy the cold more than the hot humid weather we get here in the Summer.

@looeyville Cold is to be preferred. When we were in Athens in Sept/Oct it was in the 90s and that didn’t do at all.

@dreamerby Oh yes! The air is clean and clear and the parks and seaside walks are empty.
