Beautiful Day

I have to say, this weather so far this fall has been more than welcome, having to barely keep the heat turned on, and having several days when I can open the windows and just let the fresh air in. Today is a day like that with it being a very comfortable 70 degrees outside. The windows are open, and the cats are checking out the outside world, and I was able to get out and get my leaves mulched. Now, if I can just win the lottery all should be complete. We have tonight's MegaMillions drawing worth a cool $420 million, and that should set the bank straight if I am lucky enough to have matched the proper 5 numbers along with the MegaBall. In the meantime, onward and upward, and I hope your day is as beautiful as mine is in whatever part of the world you happen to be in.

It was 63 F when I left work today. Just a bit too cold to put the top down on my car. I love doing that and having the windows open here. It is a bit too cold for that and we are supposed to get rain later. We need it though so I won't complain.

@porwest We are in major drought conditions. There are wildfires all around and people are being told not to even use grills.

We had cloud cover until almost 5 pm today when the sun tried to peek out. Tomorrow is supposed to be a lot nicer! Sounds like you had an awesome day!

@porwest I'm with you on that one. I hate cold weather! We have dipped into the 40's this week and may get a freeze later this week on Friday night. I hope not!

We're expected to have a bit of a cooldown, but then back to the 60s over the weekend. The longer it waits to get really cold, the shorter our winter will be, and I won't be complaining about that at all.

We play a game every year to see how long we can go before turning the furnace on. Our goal is always Thanksgiving. I'm confident we'll make it. We haven't had a/c or furnace on in 3 months. Fantastic utility bills.
