A woman who resides in Mesa Arizona is being praised as a person who cares for the wellbeing of a stranger who was a young boy who was seen on the intersection of 96th Street and University Drive on Friday evening November 8 getting out of her auto to save the young boy who was in danger of being hit by an auto since he was by himself.
The Mesa resident who did not give out her name admitted that she was going to pick up her daughter that evening when she turned on 96th Avenue and saw the young boy by himself on the street as she picked up the boy and took him away from the road to safety..
The Mesa woman who saved the toddler saw another woman holding a nine month old baby brother who was crawling in a sidewalk near her home.
Both boys are okay. What happened was that the mom was watching her boys when she walked out of the home for a quick walk when her boys were taking a nap when she forgot to close the door behind her according to her husband.
Child Services cleared the mom to take care of her two children despite suffering from postpartum depression.
However in this case the Child Services will be investigating the case and possibly submit child endangerment charges against her. Hopefully the mom of the two children will seek medical help for her depression.

She should not leave her children alone to take a quick walk.

I am in agreement with you since the mom is mentally ill.

@Deepizzaguy Mentally ill does not mean she can't be a good mom.

You are right since the saying "With great power comes great responsibility."

@Deepizzaguy Very true. And there is no greater responsibility than raising kids.

Nobody can afford to be lax around children, and this carelessness, of the mother, perhaps due to her condition, might warrant further action, to avert this happening again.

It can be really hard to get help for PPD. There is much less stigma than there used to be but its still there. You even said she shouldn't have her kids because she's mentally ill.
