Anyone else have this problem?

When I moved, my brother reccomended that I get a Roku T.V.
It's nice for the most part--I can watch a lot of older shows, and there are plenty of shows that I can watch that I don't have to pay for.
The one thing I don't like about it is that the remote is barely the length of my hand, it's black for the most part (which makes it hard to see if I leave it somewhere shadowy), and I'm always losing it!
I was watching T.V., and suddenly couldn't find the thing again. I know there's supposed to be some way for me to find the remote using the T.V. itself, and I even looked up a You Tube video to find it, but I could only get so far and couldn't find the part where I could find the remote via the T.V.
Ah, technology makes our lives so much easier...
I gave up for tonight, but of course I've made a mess looking for the silly remote that I'll have to clean up tomorrow when I'm trying to clean my catch-all table...
Yup. Technology makes our lives so much easier...

I have that same problem with the remote for the Roku tv getting lost since it looks like the remote for the television as well.

Oh, dear--I'm glad I only have one remote, but I wish it was bigger and like Amber said, bright orange!

Yes, they should! And twice the size of this one! It's like five inches long!

You need a special voice remote for this fuction to work. It doesn't work with the ones that have batteries you have to manially change. You can order a voice remote off of Amazon if you want, and pair that with your Roku. When you do, then you can find the remote by using your voice.

Go to Dollar Tree or somewhere like it, and buy some neon colored reflective tape...usually it's in neon green, or yellow, or orange. Put a piece or two on the remote and it will be a lot easier to find if it's just not a solid black color.
My neighbor lost his car keys so often, his son bought him an air tag and put it on the key chain. He has had to rely on it several times, so I guess technology helped him in that.
Technology gives us more choices and options, but then it often causes headaches we don't count on...so there are good days and bad days to have it, I guess.
