All lthis story about fighting like cats and dogs is not true . We have had so many cats and so many dogs and they always played together, ate together and even slept together. Preiti our pet dog and a stray cat who visited us every day were the best of friends Depends on how they are brought up

That is correct. It depends on how the owners raised them. Some dogs and cats here get along well together, and I am happy to see them that way.

My grandmother used to have a dog and a cat, and they were best friends before. I wanted to have a whisker, but these two chihuahuas here will not like the idea.

There are a great many cat and dog friendships. Years ago, people thought it was strange if cats and dogs were friends but as you say, it depended on how they were brought up.

We had a Bull Terrier who was so friendly with the cat that when the cat littered she wanted him arund. He would up pick those newly born kititens from the basket. They did so many things togethere She would clean him after his bath - the list is endless

Cats and dogs that have known each other since childhood tend to be close friends and play together. Dogs and cats fight usually because they feel strange to each other
