In bengal in winter fenugreek or methishak is popular in bengal. It is a kind of spinach. Some people crush the leaves of the spinach and add in the parathas and make methi ka paratha. it can be eaten as curry with rice or chapatis also.

Cool to know, is it spicy also? Coz, correct me if I am wrong, I think most of indian food are spicy.

It's absolute favourite across the country in winter. I keep planting them in my pots and enjoy it. Methi paratha is a very frequent meal in our home. I learnt methi pulao( the Kannadiga style) here and my daughters like to take it in their lunchbox.
