A British friend greeted me Happy Children's Day on November 20th. Yes, sometimes adults can be childish and celebrate it to each other anyway I am just surprised to find that the International Children's Day can be different. As our International Children's Day is on June 1st. It's interesting that both dates are so called International Children's Day

World Children's Day is celebrated on 20 November to commemorate the Declaration of the Rights of the Child by the UN General Assembly on 20 November 1959.

@youless Of course each country may decide for a "National" children day.

We celebrated it at OSHC last Wednesday. My co-Educators did the decorations and led the activities with our OSHC children. It was a fun day.

Would be nice to celebrate children's day. I can't remember if we have a national celebration for children's day here in my country. Nonetheless, I cherish my kids each day and am thankful for them. And I wouldn't mind celebrating it as an adult either. My inner child might just appreciate it.
