I made fried chicken, some spicy. Homemade mashed potatoes and gravy. It wasn't super exciting, but no one complained and sometimes that's all the excitement I need to get through the day.
I guess technically I made chicken strips and chicken nuggets. Homemade of course. It's pretty rare that I make pre breaded tenders or nuggets because he child won't eat them unless they are from a fast food place- go figure.
So that's what was for dinner here. What went on the table at your house?

I fixed homemade chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, and green beans for the son. I made the noodles and dried them and froze them for when he wanted them. I had plenty of homemade broth and the chicken was cooked already so it went fast. He has leftovers. So he is happy.

@thislittlepennyearns oh, I agree. Here in the Midwest it is a thing to eat noodles with mashed potatoes. I don’t know why. I didn’t have any. I finished off my chicken soup instead.

That looks yummy, April.
My son made chicken and lamb wraps. He home-made the flat bread himself. It was delish-ly the best!!! The plain yogurt with cucumber as topping was unforgettable.
