The Shoe's On The Other Foot Now

Or at least it's probably going to be. Did I tell you that I'm in a walking boot on my right foot? The doctor said I have tendonitis from high-impact pressure on the treadmill an hour a day for 5 months and also from my recent trip to Europe where I walked over uneven ground a lot and twisted my foot into different contortions than usual. It's been a week and a half and the right foot does indeed feel better with rest, not using the treadmill, and wearing the walking boot. But guess what? Now the left foot is hurting in the same area that the right one was. Compensation for wearing a boot that's making me walk unevenly? I don't know but I find it humorous. I see moving the walking boot to the other foot in the future. Photo is a generic stock photo of a walking boot.

I hope you have a smaller foot than I do. I had to wear one for two months, and my foot is a size 11 1/2. There is no way to look good in a walking boot that size.

That was a Marty Robbins song, “The Shoe Goes on the Other Foot Tonight.” That’s one of the reasons I do NOT use a treadmill. It absolutely kills my feet. Hope everything's okay by the time you fly off on your next adventure!

I did not know treadmill can affect your feet to the point that there can be a continuous pain!
