Hey everyone! We made it to the weekend finally! I hope you all had a wonderful day! We had a gorgeous day on tap with blue skies, and sunshine! I spend the first half of the day mostly outside doing regular chores of feeding the cats, the chickens and getting the chickens fresh water. I pulled a few weeds in the garden and threw them in for the chickens to much on as a treat. Then since the wind wasn't blowing I set out to pick up limbs and burn them. We were under a burn ban for over a month again from early October until November 15th. Since the 15th, we have had wind or rain just about every day. So, I took advantage of the sunshine and got busy. With several storms in the past couple of weeks, we had a lot of limbs down. Will proceed with that chore on the next pretty day! I came inside and got all cleaned up and headed to the mall for a few stops before going to Wally World to pick up some things to make some desserts with for Thanksgiving Day. All in all it was a busy day! I found what I needed at the mall (and then some, but I ended up putting the sweatshirts I had picked out for hubby and I back because they rang up at the wrong price. I didn't feel like arguing with the little nerdy clerk so I just told him to take them off my bill. Big sign with price on it, but their register is obviously not programmed right. Oh well. You are lucky to have sunshine, we see little sunshine during the month of November, although it did peek through the clouds today. I got my groceries, put up a few decorations, went out for soup and a sandwich with my hubs for lunch, and came back home and moved furniture and he set up the Christmas tree. I will put the beads on it tomorrow and some day next week we'll have the twins over to decorate what they can reach of it. Best of all I did order 3 Christmas gifts online today-so that finishes off the twins as well as my hubs. I do have to get something for our son and his wife, they are hard ones to buy for.

My world had a bit of weak light today. I don't go to Wally World. I went to the grocery store nearest me then made supper and continued to put the finishing touches on our Yule tales.

If you lived in the country and only had one small store in the closest town to you, you would drive 20 minutes to go to Walmart. The other grocery store there is sky high.

@kareng I used to live in the country and yes, drove aways for food. I need good produce. I shopped at Safeway there, too.
