My name is just taken from the name of the month, it doesn't mean it has no meaning.

My name means pearl in Latin.

I have a close friend by that name. My name is Grace and I am sure every one will know what Grace means (lol)

I’m Karen as well (not A “Karen” ).

I just looked mine up online. I only know that I was named Julia Anne because my parents liked the middle name Anne, and the first name has been in the family for generations. But the internet says that Julia means youthful. And maybe that is why I was asked for ID from the time I was legal at 19 years until I was 28 years old.

I looked it up and Judith means 'praised'. We didn't pay any attention to meanings when we named our sons.

Well, the meaning of my name is from the Indian language Sanskrit and it means supreme. It is considered as one of the names for the Hindu God Vishnu. Even my awareness of the meaning , came just a few years ago and all thanks to internet. While In School, I recollect my teacher asking the meaning of my name and I had no idea on same. It was only after checking on internet, I discovered the meaning. There seems to be some meaning in Portugese and Arabic .Do not recollect the meanings. Well, I would definitely pay attention to the meaning of the name given to our children. Would love to have uncomplicated ones yet not so simple one as well.
