It's Been 23 Weeks

Today marks the 23rd week that I've been working out at the gym and eating a high protein low carbohydrate diet.
I weigh myself and check my blood sugar every Monday.
My blood sugar was 98. That's very well within the normal range. It started out at 114 five months ago.
My weight stayed the same this week, down 30 pounds from where I started.
It's been a good journey and one that I'm going to continue down the path toward good health mobility as I age.

@looeyville Well done you. Hope you’re feeling the benefit. I’m still trying to lose 30 pounds and not making much headway. I love my food so much. I think it’s partly portion sizes. Must behave.

You Europeans have such perfect portion sizes, though. Not like here in the USA where "bigger is better" and an individual portion is big enough to feed a family of 5.

I don't want to put a number on it so as not to cause stress if the goal takes longer or seems too hard to accomplish. But a fair bit more.

Wow that 23 weeks seems to have flown by since you originally posted about your starting out on the healthy journey. I admire your dedication and that you didn't quit.
