I think a robot called me

AI is scary. A few minutes ago, a stranger called me. I had applied to many jobs, and employers saw my CV. I expected them to call me. So I answered the phone. A man or robot called me saying ''good afternoon'' and here it's evening. He seemed to ignore me when I said it was evening. He said he organizes a health event in a town and I can earn a smartwatch. He started to ask for personal data. He asked where I live, and what my age is. After he asked my age I hung up. I realized it was a scam. I just read it was a scam and robots call people. They collect personal information and no one knows why. Those health events don't exist. We live in scary times and no one can do anything against these scammers.

Yes, and why I don't answer my phone if I do not know who is calling!

I did the same until I applied to a few jobs. Usually, I don't answer.

Scammers are everywhere and they are rampant here as well. They typically scam people by sending links to their mobile phones.

Some of them are. But they ask for them if we need to find a job.

these "health events" are "real" here. i remember few years ago many people were invited to such event, they got free food and one drink and a presentation about many different health gadgets (that were very expensive, of course). not many people bought anything AI can be scary, but it is also helpful at times.

Sometimes is real, but this time it wasn't a real event. But when you are invited to such an event do they call you?

He didn't seem to try to sell something. It looked like he wanted to collect data.
