A Bargain Lunch Today

We had lunch as a fast casual fast food place today called Jaggers. It's a spin-off from Texas Roadhouse. They offer burgers, chicken, and shakes. We've been there a half dozen times in the past and have found the burgers to be most excellent the the counter service outstanding. Polite young workers. We've joked that it's the "Chic-Fil-A of Burgers." So today I had a coupon for a free burger because I had purchased $25 gift card there last time we went. So my lunch was FREE! Then my husband got a meal with burger/fries/drink and we had a loyalty rewards offer for a free Peppermint Shake, which was delicious. The two of us dined out including dessert for just $13.51.

A place I'd like to try one of these days if I am ever in an area where there's one. Used to own stock in Texas Roadhouse and it's a good company. I need to check back on that one again soon. I took my profits and ran on the last run of it.

Sounds great! Especially the peppermint shake. I have peppermint hot chocolate for a Friday evening treat.
