Yes, you are absolutely right, although it is not easy, you have to get used to it.

I think it depends on the task, and the desire to be consistant with it. I rarely forget to arm the house, rarely forget my keys, and a hole host of little things. I'm religious about ensuring my husband gets his medicine on time. But, if it's something I'm not really motivoted to do, it can be a bit harder. Like doing a lot of cleaning. I mean I do a little bit, but I don't do a lot. We have clean dishes and clean clothes, but I don't always wash down the counters. Recently, my husband, George, has been wanting me to chill the shakes he needs to sistain himself. But, I put them in one at a time.I still keep some at room temp in case I need to put them down his tube.

It is also true that motivation is one of the things that greatly influences a person's consistency.

@astutimeliana723 I always say, that things are only as hard as you make them.

I believe that having discipline is essential for maintaining consistency. For instance, if you lack discipline in saving money, you will spend unnecessarily, even with a limited income. Just my two cents.

We can do it, it's just a matter of practice like being consistent in coming to work early hehe.

To be consistent, you need to do it without much thinking! You need to focus on the sub tasks fo the main activity and do them without thinking . For example, if you are looking to lose weight - focus on eating more veggies and fruits nd less fast food or junk food and the other task would be exercise. Focussing on these two and repeating them day after day without thinking about results or outcomes, will ultimately result in weight loss. Thats the big secret of having consistency. Focus on the process and not on the result. The results will come in due time. It is because we look at results , consistency is lost in many cases!

Focus on the process not the result. Okay, very good answer. Thank you very much my friend.
