I Don't Trust Amazon Vine Reviews

And my reasoning for that is, they have a job to do and that is to embellish the product they are reviewing. It seems some of those Vine reviews are way overboard on products that don't deserve that much attention and rating. Anyway just my two cents. Do you usually trust reviews on Amazon?

No, I don't. I check out the product. I rarely look for the reviews because they are designed to not distract from the product.

@RebeccasFarm Now if the photos of the product have videos, I'll watch those.

That's right Kayla at the very least not to detract from the item.

What is a 'Vine' review? I don't use Amazon for several reasons. So I don't know about their reviews.

A Vine review is like the Walmart Spark review. The Vine Program is like this" The Amazon Vine program is an invitation-only program that allows trusted Amazon reviewers to: Order new and pre-release products for free Share their honest opinions in reviews Help customers make informed purchasing decisions

I agree with you. They are no better than the thingies they sell on TV.

Yes it must be exceptional for me and not based on reviews.

@RebeccasFarm It is clever. Some people think that Baileys are a sort of baby formulas and they can drink a whole bottle during the night. And I´m not that rich to buy bottles as if they were cokes.

I do read them and find some true opinions which criticiize the products.

I do read them OT. before buying anything. I try to look at the number of both the 4-5 star and the lousy reviews and figure out whose rating makes the most sense to me. It can be confusing for sure. Sometimes you just have to go with your gut feeling.

I agree. The Vine program is by invite only. I have several friends that got invites through Epinons.com and still have it now, years later. Some of those people are known for writing long and drawn out reviews. You can get on the list by writing your own reviews on Amazon. I can't though because Amazon blocked me from leaving reviews (not long ones, and honest ones) because I used coupon codes when I place orders there. That sucks and is just wrong!

I don't read or trust the reviews, There are products they push for selling and can write anything, I only trust the review on one of my books of poems on Avon because an good online friend wrote it,

I take all reviews with a pinch of salt. We don't buy much from Amazon so I can't really comment on them specifically.
