A Boy Scout in California is hosting a food drive for starving animals

Blake Sparks who is a Boy Scout in Rocklin California is one 17 year old teenager that shows his kind side by hosting a pet food drive over the previous weekend at the Tractor Supply store in the same city to assist the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).
Blake was able to raise to raise around 2,000 pounds of food for animals in need for the Placer County SPCA since he is sad that animals are in need of being taken care since he was 10 years of age.
Blake is on a mission to join the Eagle Scours with his project to assist needy animals in his community.

I assume, and hope, that he would be versed on the various food needs of various pet animals, as otherwise, he might end up with a mountain of supplies, not suitable for the animals in his area. Especially, would this be true, if some of the pets were exotic ones, like kangaroos, snakes, and monkeys.
