An exciting thing happened this morning!

So this morning I went onto the BBC Sounds app to see what Wynne was talking about today on his radio show. He was asking what cheats or hacks you use when cooking. So I sent a text and I was listening to the radio at the same time. Katya (Wynne's dance partner on Strictly) had phoned him for help because she couldn't find pre-made couscous or something, so texted Hi Wynne. I love couscous! I use frozen onion, butternut squash, garlic, sweetcorn and leek when I can find it. Then he was talking about people buying pre-grated cheese, so I said My Mum buys grated cheese, (and the sliced stuff!) From Sharon in Lichfield, Staffordshire. I sent the text and then went back to read it through, and while I was doing that I got a phone call! So I answered it quick and it was the lady from the Wynne Evans show. She said, Hi Sharon, it's soandso from the Wynne Evans show. Thank you for your text. So, you use frozen onion? I said yes. So then we talked about that for a bit. Then she said, so will you be available to talk to Wynne later, and I said yes. Then she asked me what I did for a living and I said I was an amateur artist. So we talked about that for a bit. Then she said, so we'll get in touch with you a bit later then if we need you. So then I didn't know if I'd get to talk to Wynne or not. But I kept my phone on and went and did some Mylotting on my tablet. At about 9:43 ish my phone went and I answered it and a lady said, Hi, it's soandso from the Wynne Evans show. Are you OK to talk to Wynne? And I said yes, and she said, you'll be on after this track. A then a tune began to play in my ear. It seemed to take ages to finish! Then Wynne came on and said the name of the song, and then he said we've got Sharon on the phone. Hiya Shazza! How are you doing? I said I was feeling depressed because of the menopause but he cheers me right up! Then he asked me if I could get him on the NHS! He asked me if I was on patches, and I said no! He told me not to be depressed. Then he told me he'd got my Christmas card. He thinks it's lovely! He read out what I'd written inside and the sentiment that I'd stamped in there. He asked if I was an artist then, and I said I was an amateur artist. He said, not so amateur by the look of this, this is lovely! So then he asked me what cheats or hacks I use in my cooking, and I said I use frozen onion. He said WHAT? I said, well I did used to cut up my own onion but it just made me cry! I cry enough as it is without the onion adding to it! So he said, Oh, I see. So you just get the frozen stuff. And I said, yeah exactly. But you can't get the erm (and then I forgot the name for them for a bit, then it came to me) spring onion! You can't get frozen spring onion and that makes me cry too! He said, but spring onion's already done! I said But it still makes me cry when I'm chopping it, so I take a tissue with me just incase! Then he said what other stuff do you get that's frozen? I said sweetcorn, garlic, butternut squash and leek if I can find it. He said you're the queen of that then! When we'd finished chatting the lady came back on and said thank you, and told me to keep in touch. I went to listen back to it later, and at the end of the chat Wynne said I was gorgeous! I hadn't heard that the first time round, because the lady had already come on to thank me for getting in touch! So I'm a happy bunny this morning! What are you lot getting up to today?
