My pink fuzzy robe has been my best friend for a number of years. It keeps me warm. It keeps me covered.
But it has a torn-out pocket now and it's getting a little raggedy.
And I have two back-up replacements for it.
So today I am officially retiring my pink fuzzy robe and moving on to a grey patterned less fuzzy one.

Do you get attached to things that bring you comfort?

Maybe someone else tossed it while you weren't around or looking.

@2ndchances24 If there’s someone in my apartment besides me I sure as heck want to know who. Cause I sure as heck am not aware of it.

Yes, I tend to order the same things over and over again.

I absolutly do. I had a robe for over 20 years (my favorite although I had others). Leticia had promised that should I die before she did, she´d come to get the robe out of the closet and throw it away. 2 or 3 years ago, after I stayed at the hospital for a week, another one of my robes fitted me better. Now I changed it and it is my favorite one.

Yes. I don't usually throw them right away, sometimes I kept them inside my closet.

@looeyville I’m somewhat attached to my beat up old black fedora which I wear on my pre-jentacular meanderings along the shore in this chilly weather. My wife has a voluminous pink fluffy robe that occupies most of a suitcase when we go anywhere. It even went to Greece with us in September when the temp was in the 90s, as did the hot water bottle which she used every sultry night.

i absolutely get attached to things that bring me comfort hahah i had one sweatshirt and i burned it on accident - but i still kept it with holes in it. i don't know if my mom threw it away, but i know i kept it in the closet for a long time
i hope the new robe starts feeling as comfy as the pink one
