And I´m finishing my last mug of broth with an egg. It is better than the cake. There are lots of foods with salt that are more delicious than a cake. The omelette yesterday was out of this world. And the broth today was perfect. I have soft buns that I will dip this evening in the oil where I roasted the egplants and other veggies. And I could also make a cheese grilled sandwich. I look at the crabs and wonder how much could they cost. I love crabs and could make a sort of crab pie for Christmas. Do you plan ahead your Christmas meal?

Our Christmas meal is a potluck where my dad’s side of the family all meets. We usually have brisket, ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, corn salad, green salad, pasta salad, 6 layered salad, corn, green beans, macaroni and cheese, couscous, and more desserts than I can count. It’s a feast for about 50 people (back in the day it was more people).

We go to my mother-in-law's so we don't have to prepare anything. I'll be gone to India this Christmas.
