Change of Plans and Thanksgiving.

The other day, I posted about two of my plans for the week, but those plans have changed. So I thought, “What the heck, I’ll make a new post!” Lol. I actually meant to post this earlier, but I wasn’t home. So, the first change is skipping Trivia Night. Other than a few weeks ago when we weren’t up to it, we’ve been going weekly since like… late September or early October. But my niece worked all day, and I’m finishing up another writing project, so it just made sense to skip it. The second change is the morning walk with my younger sister, followed by the coffee shop (our niece is working until 11:30am). They’re calling for rain in the morning, so we’re skipping the walk. I told my sister I may go to the coffee shop anyway, and she said she’d probably do the same. Sooo, at least we’ll have that lol. Both changes aren’t a huge deal. We’ll make it to Trivia Night another week, and I’m still going to the coffee shop for a while tomorrow before setting up brunch for the family (people here, we don’t host). I’m doing cheese, crackers, and pepperoni, as it’s tasty but won’t fill everyone up before it’s time for dinner. I also bought mini cupcakes on sale, but I told everyone to dig in tonight, if they wanted to. Before anyone asks, if you were going to ask, we don’t really host or go anywhere for Thanksgiving. Sometimes my younger sister comes in for a bit, but that’s it. We haven’t hosted anyone in years (before my parents passed). Everyone kind of does their own things, with their own households or extended family. Same for New Years and Easter. It’s honestly fine. Halloween and Christmas are the “big ones” with us, in regards to people coming over lol. I might see if my nephew and anyone else wants to play Black Jack after our post-dinner naps tomorrow though. Maybe while eating pie. That’d be fun. Alrighty, I need to get back to work. These are easy orders, so I can have them finished and submitted soon if I buckle down. I think I want to post the Gratitude Challenge before bed, so I’ll be back at some point. Photo Credit: Pixabay.
