More about our motor-home

I’ve just written about buying a motor-home. The part that contains the club lounge, table and fridge all slide out 600 cms to the side which gives a lovely open space in the middle of the van. Towards the back is a queen-size island bed so both people can get out easily. The shower is quite big and there is a wardrobe for hanging clothes.
The kitchen has an oven/griller combo, three gas burners, a microwave, a good-sized fridge and a lot of drawers and storage space. There is also a double bed over the cab which can be used for storage if necessary. The driver and passenger seats swivel round to become dining chairs.
The step and slide-out section are electric and the vehicle won’t move if they are not stored correctly. All in all, we’re very pleased with it and are looking forward to our first trip away. I can't believe we only sold the caravan three days ago and we already have our motor-home.

@vandana7 Buying can add up fast tho. But you can buy paper plates to have less clean up.

@wolfgirl569 Oh...in India, buying would be cheaper...of course, the standard of food (quality as well as taste) can be pretty bad....but we do get good food too...we just need to identify upfront.

You both look so happy, and I can completely understand after reading the post.
As I said in your earlier post, the exterior looks pristine, and your description makes it sound like it was custom made for the 2 of you. And with a queen size bed, you will be able to use your sheets from the house-provided you don't have a king sized bed.
You have both been through so much this past year, I am so happy for you that this has happened, although it was quick, it sounds like it was also easy. I look forward to reading all about your adventures in the new motorhome.

Thank you so much. Once again, as it was moving here, it was like it was meant to be. It all fell into place so quickly and so easily. Both beds are queen-sized and we emptied the carravan completely before selling it so we won't have much that we need to buy to fit it out nicely.

@MarieCoyle It will be a bit easier than towing the caravan everywhere.

@JudyEv How easy is it when it comes to driving such a huge vehicle?

@allknowing It is automatic but it is a big vehicle. You just have to be aware that it's heavy and be careful. I think it will be fun to drive really but I won't be driving it in the city.

It's 25 ft. Winnebago Esperance 2008 model if you want to look it up. There are lots of YouTubes about them although they're not all the same configuration. The only slight drawback is that, while it sleeps four, there are only two seats for people - driver and passenger.
