When we went to Walmart the parking lot was full of cars and there was long lines at all of the registers. We would end up waiting in the line forever. That made me happy that we did not really want anything.
My husband just wanted to walk around and see what they had. I did not see anything that I wanted.
They are having sales through Monday. Monday is called cyber Monday.
There was lots of people who had big TV's in their carts. The sell prices were really good.
I am glad all the stores we passed had lots of cars in their parking lot.

@LindaOHio I was being facetious. You trap yourself by default by choosing not to drive so you can never get pizza or fried chicken or Chinese food. So, I saw a joke in there and told it. lol

We stopped there on our way home yesterday for milk and coffee creamer. The parking lot was jammed full, but we got lucky and got a parking spot close to the store. My husband said he wasn't going inside when he saw the parking lot. He was surprised when I told him there were not a lot of people inside. I did not have to wait at all to check out. The lady in front of me just had to make her payment and then it was my turn. I got lucky!

Electronics are a big favorite for those bargain shoppers.
I just don't have the patience to wait on long lines for a Black Friday sale. Guess I'll have to wait for the Memorial Day one, lol. Smaller lines...

@dgobucks226 The big TV's had good prices on them. I would never want a TV that big.

I don't know how the black Friday sales went here. Usually, my girls go shopping that day and I babysit grandkids. I don't think any of them went this year. If they did, they just did online orders. They have gotten burned out on fighting people who act crazy trying and fight over merchandise.

I never want to bring myself to go into that madness. No thanks. The one time I did go out, just out of curiosity, I didn't think any of the deals were actually deals at all. I was not impressed, and besides, most of it is all crap I don't need anyway. I stay home and save 100%. lol

That's why if there is a sale or if it is holidays and we have to buy something really important or we have to do some grocery, my sister and I go to the mall as early as 10 Am so we can check out with few people, and go home with no traffic also. Waahhh people are everywhere, malls are too crowded, cinemas have a long lines, fastfood and restaurants are also full.

We have no Walmart here yet, and it is rumoured here that Costco, who we do have here, might close down here soon.
They need to learn better how to cater to the Aussie market mentality here.
Black Friday lasted for two weeks here, as the sales period was extended, either side of the Friday, and the actual day, Friday, then was not so busy, as a result of this lengthened period of sales.
