Fell out of bed in the middle of the night.

I awoke to the sound of my cat wanting to puke. I was lying on my back, and she was on my stomach.
I went to pick her up to put her on the floor, and fell off the bed to the floor. I couldn't get up, I tried.
Thankfully I had a friend staying over, and after yelling her name a couple of times, she came to my room to help me get up.
I thought I wasn't hurt, I guess it was adrenaline running through me at the time, but when I woke up later in the day, my bad ankle and knee are painful to walk on.
Now my cat is lying on my lap while I lie on the couch resting from that ordeal.

I already have an appointment with my family doctor tomorrow, so I'll talk to her then.

I saw my dr today and she suggested that I see my orthopedic surgeon for my ankle, so I have an appointment next Thursday with him.
And we are just monitoring my knee for now.

Nothing gets you going like a puking cat. Take it easy and go to the doctor if you need to. I am glad you had someone staying with you.
