Gastric problems again

As I had written in the past about my chronic constipation problem, I also have gastric flare-ups sometimes. I cannot digest anything. Not even rice and dal which is like the diet here. I am taking a medicine two times perday -Unienzyme which is somewhat helping me with the digestion. I am better but not normal yet. This started after the fever I had recently.
Do you have gastric problems sometimes? What do you do then?
Do you take any Over-the-counter medications?

yeah I am having green tea regularly and relying on laxatives. Somehow, laxatives are not working as well.

I am sorry to learn about your health issue. An year or so ago, I did face some gastric issues. I opted for homeopathy ..it did work...kinda, I got rid of some gall stones, and it controlled acidity for a month or two at times. Whenever I could not go to the Homeopath, I went to a chemist here, who gave me Rabokind, and it helped to subdue those flare ups....but there was a tip from the homeopath, eat curds and rice early in the morning. (If you love bland food, you might manage that, I love spicy stuff so I opt to eat that in night). Avoid tea and coffee...AND AVOID SLEEPING IN THE MID DAY AFTER MEAL. Do some walking...very essential.
All those helped me some. But ultimate full stop came from my visit to Shirdi. I think Baba thought, enough is enough, now no more...stop...suffering. And I never have had those flare ups, which used to be terrible...there is no position we can lie down...everything pains...difficult to sleep, and vomiting and loose motions...you bet I know how it feels when tummy becomes a tyrant.

@Iam_jauntyjen Yes, it does....despite allopathy folks calling it slow, and calling it placebo...it works...I vouch for it...
And the best part....you can self medicate...there are many websites that tell you medications for your symptoms....carefully select the ones you need, go to the homeo shop buy those, and use them as frequently as you feel the need, no side effects what so ever.

@Dreamerby I just avoid food that will cause it. Mostly it's ready to drink 3-in-1 coffee

I am sorry to hear that. I have hyperacidity, so I can't eat too much chili or spicy food.

@Dreamerby Not all Filipino dishes contain chili; it depends on the cook.

Oh but that must be tough because most of Fillipino dishes have chilli and oil in them.

Do you have constipation problems as well? Then you can try some mild laxatives.

At times, I experience irritable bowel movements. Just last night, I pooped three times. My stool was loose. I am thinking maybe I overdosed on vitamin C. I took 3000 mg of it in the morning, and inadvertently took another before bedtime.
