Song inspired question

I have been watching the show From and they have an addicting theme show at the beginning of the show. It get stuck in my head for days. The song is called Que Sera Sera. The song was originally sing by Doris Day in the Hitchcock movie The Man who Knew Too Much. (I love Hitchcock movies.) The song on the show From is a cover done by The Pixies. The lyrics is about a boy who asks his father about what the future will be like. My question is would you want to know the future, or would you be like the song says and let it be whatever comes, comes? Here's the song:

We think we want to know the future, but of course we hope it will be all good. If we knew bad things were coming would that be worse than just getting the bad news as a shock?

That is a hard question! I would not want to know. Because if it was bad things to come, you would not enjoy any day looking for the worst to happen not knowing when it would happen. I think that would make whoever, a very sad person.
