In my city, we have to get an ID that identify us as a resident there to get all the benefits. The benefits include free consultation and medicine at the health center (as long as available), free grocery packs every Christmas. For senior and PWD, they have cash gifts every June and December. Yesterday, I was home interviewed for my ID card renewal (every 3 years). This is to ensure that the person is still alive and residing there. That was one of the reasons I was not active the past days.

well, they give us medicines for maintenance for 15 days. It is still helpful if you have maintenance medicines. For kids, they offer free vaccinations too

Nice, at least that's one thing checked off your list of things to do. When you said you were home interviewed, does that mean that they actually send someone in your home to interview the household members?

Oh yes, when the kids were young, I got them vaccinated at the health center instead of going to private doctor which I have to pay for the vaccine and consultation fee

That's so nice. My mom and my dad already had IDs, they started getting their quarterly allowances last year. They have so many maintenance medicine and they also have annually laboratory so it is really a great help for their medical bills. But I am grateful that their laboratory result are all normal now, and the doctors also lessen their medicines. to God be the glory.

We have a ID card that's valid throughout the country. Only we have to change the address in that card if we move from one city to another.
