Feeling nice and clean.

George wanted to watch the races and asked me about the tub. So, I took full advantage and put one on for him. I then got into the tub and washed my hair. I'm a little tired, but I feel nice and refreshed. It's such a good feeling to get a bath. And, George got the day of the week right. We're watching a second race while I listen to a movie. I'll also be flushing out his tube. He did ask me for his tube food, which he almost never does. So I'm just glad he's thinking about his health.
I just had something to eat myself which is helpful. It's dark now and feels later than it is.

I really like cleanliness, whether it's for the house, bathroom, bathtub, yard, including keeping my body clean, it's very comfortable...

I'm glad things went well. I hate that it gets pitch black by 5:30. Soon the days will start to get longer again. Have a good week.

I cheated and took a longer shower than just my usual. The hot water just felt really good today. Usually, my every day habit is to hurry and get it done, but today it just felt so nice and warm. I am glad you got to take your bath!

I've found the little things are so important, especially when they're handed to you. George know how important the tub is, and wanted to make sure I got a bath.

@MarieCoyle I could never stand safely in a shower to clean myself properlly. I was able to long enough to rinse my hair, but then by then I was pretty much done with a bath. I tried using shower chairs in showers, but I couldn't take cold showers because of the pain it would cause and hot ones relaxed everything too much and I had to sit there to regain use of my legs. So it's the bath for me. Period. though I did try once to take a shower when George was in rehab, but I had more grabars and my wheelchair. and for some reason dried a lot faster. Guess it was their water.
